Grasslands publishes material of interest to all of our readers, including scientific research reports, general interest articles, updates on recent events, book reviews, photo essays, workshop news, and more. We are also always accepting color photos to use on our covers.

Grasslands Submission Guidelines


We welcome your submission to Grasslands

We accept anything from short reports on recent events, field reports, book reviews, opinions, and peer-reviewed research reports. We like to have a variety of material of varying length (from a photo with a short caption on up to articles with 3,500 words) in every issue so that everyone can find something of interest.

Submit Your Photos for Publication

We are looking for photos to print in our journal, Grasslands, and on our website.

Submit your photos to: admin@cnga.org

  • All photos must be original - please only submit photographs that you took and for which you own the copyright.

  • Please include caption information including photographer,date, place, and photo description.

  • We will always credit you as the photographer.

  • Photos should be at least 300 dpi.

  • Send photos as email attachments (not embedded in email or a document).

  • By submitting a photo, you give CNGA permission to print or display your submitted photo on our website and social media.
