Landscaping with Nature: Designing, building, and maintaining attractive native landscapes that support wildlife and reduce water usage

This workshop is suitable for landscape professionals and anyone interested in maximizing habitat values in their landscaping. Expert instructors will present cutting-edge methods of design, installation, management, and maintenance including plant selection, soil analysis, evolutionary interactions, habitat features, and planting best practices to create a wildlife-friendly landscape.

 Haven Kiers will take us on an optional afternoon tour of the Native Plant Green Roofs on UCD Campus.


The day begins at 8 AM with registration, coffee, a light breakfast, and viewing of our sponsor's displays. Talks begin at 8:30 AM .
