Join Now and Your Membership Extends through 2023
Join after September 30th and receive membership benefits for the 2022 and 2023. You will receive the Fall 2022 issue of our Grasslands journal in print or digital form delivered to your mailbox along with other membership benefits for the remainder of 2021 and through 2023!
All memberships are yearly and renew on January 1st.
Your membership with CNGA makes a big difference! It means we can continue working on cutting-edge workshops, advocacy and education for both adults and youth, the quarterly Grasslands journal, and more.
All members receive advanced notice of workshops and our quarterly journal, Grasslands,
- Memberships are for 1 year (except Lifetime Memberships) and renew on January 1st
- New members can join from October 1 - 31 for half price for most membership levels
- Join in November and December 2020 and your membership does not expire until January 1, 2022
Which membership level works for you? Sign up below.
Regular membership ($45/year) is our most general membership level. At this level, you enjoy one subscription to Grasslands Journal delivered to your inbox or mailbox, discounts on workshops and events, access to the latest research and information in grasses and grasslands, and opportunities to be involved in projects and advocacy.
Sustaining membership ($60/year) is designed to help you easily manage your finances by charging your credit card on record a yearly basis. This level makes membership a manageable option. You will be notified annually for renewal. Sustaining members enjoy all the same benefits as regular members.
Retired and Student memberships ($30/year) are designed to provide access to CNGA membership levels at a more affordable rate. Student membership requires a valid school ID. Retired and student memberships enjoy all the same benefits as regular members.
Lifetime membership ($500/one time payment) gives you all the same benefits as regular members, but for a lifetime! We appreciate your commitment to this organization.
Joint CNGA + SERCAL membership ($80/year) provides you a discount on the regular membership cost for each organization alone. Consider supporting two organizations, with one transaction. Joint members enjoy the same benefits as regular members. See SERCAL benefits.
Prairie Partners - Special levels for individuals
Wildflowers enrich grassland diversity. Giving at these levels enriches the diversity of programs CNGA provides!
Prairie partners receive all the benefits of general membership including a subscription to the Grasslands Journal, discounts on workshops and events, access to the latest research and information on grasses and grasslands, and opportunities to be involved in projects and advocacy. Plus receive a special appreciation gift as listed below.
Redmaids - Join at this level ($125/year) and receive a CNGA hat!
Baby Blue Eyes - Join at this level ($250/year) and receive a CNGA t-shirt!
California Poppy - California Poppy supporters ($500/year) are invited to special members-only hikes once the pandemic is over. For now, we'll send you a CNGA hat and t-shirt. Please specify hat color and t-shirt style and size (refer to CNGA Store)
Goldenbanner - Join the CNGA Board at this level ($1,000/year) and we will offer you a thank-you BBQ once the pandemic is over. For now, we'll send you a CNGA hat, t-shirt and a set of laminated Grass Posters. Please specify hat color and t-shirt style and size (refer to CNGA Store)
